at this moment, i think i'm one of 50,000 other people across the world who decided TODAY was the day that they just needed a blog. to tell you the truth, most photographers have a blog just to get more visitors, more comments, more SEO, and the coveted -more likes. however, i'm going to post a little bit about my journey to start a business while my house is in complete chaos with a kitchen renovation, after I moved across the country away from family 4 months ago, my quest to learn how to surf, and my kids are in a new school system. of course i'm going to post a photo from our session and a little bit about the day so then you can go ahead and post it and so on. there will for sure be random pictures of trees. sound good?
oh and these adorable little ones are the daughters my dear friend from arlington virginia. they welcomed their third beautiful girl into the house this may. they loves boas (the dress up kind), markers, and hiding in their parents kitchen cabinets.
So what will I do? I'll try it all and hope I succeed. I don't want a niche. I'll shoot births, newborns, family, children and I'll bring memories to families like photography used to. Ancestors all held their pictures in such high regard, it was the album you ran in for when the house was burning, the one wedding picture of your grandparents, the one baby picture of your father, the black and white of the whole family. I want to bring quality pictures back into our lives, ones that generations will hold onto forever.
