fall 2023 Mini-sessions
No on told me I would be busier with older kids than littles. I’ll be doing sessions closer to home and only on Mondays or Fridays. Weekends have become an intense logistical and scheduling masterpiece, so weekdays are it! Let’s get outside and adventure with the kids! Now more than ever, let’s create positive, fun and genuine family moments together. The kids are back at school and our schedules are as busy-but let’s make space for capturing true family connections. This year, I’ll be adding more of a documentary style to the sessions. I’ll be doing a LIMITED amount this year and if I can’t get you in, I can refer you to some amazing photographers in our area! Here is a good Shutterfly article for some outfit tips! Family photos also are the perfect gifts to give to grandparents or sessions can be booked for Holiday gifts!

LEO CARRILLO STATE BEACH: September 15, September 29
EL PESCADOR STATE BEACH: September 22, October 13

Barranca (multiple spots)- Camarillo
The barranca next to the Mission Oaks tennis courts, the barranca across from Tierra Linda School and the barranca next to Upland Road are just three of the beautiful locations in the Camarillo barranca that receive great golden hour light! There is a trail the kids can run down and multiple pepper trees. We’ll discuss where the best spot to meet is for the type of background you’re looking for!
Leo Carrillo State Beach
Leo Carrillo is a beautiful beach just North of the Malibu border. It is filled with beach goers, tide pools, surfers and rocks to climb on. Its super fun for the kids to run around, but beware you might get wet. Meet me adventure families. Click here for more images and directions.

Conejo Botanical Gardens- Thousand Oaks
These botanical gardens have about 10 different backgrounds as long as you are willing to walk a little bit! They have a many flower filled trails, walking trails, a huge grass field and a hillside covered in mustard plants. Their website showcases which flowers are out right now! Be ready to walk up and down the little trails. The kids will have a fun time running to the top. Click here for more info!
El Pescador State Beach
El Pescador State Beach is a beautiful California beach with Malibu lined up behind it. There is a trail down to the beach where the kids can run free and there are some rocks they can jump on! There is a paid parking lot and click HERE for more info and images!

Hill Canyon/Santa Rosa Valley Park
This is an awesome Camarillo location with trails, pepper trees, eucalyptus trees and a rustic bridge! There are multiple backgrounds to shoot here and easy access from the parking lot for older family members. The trails and fields make for a beautiful country look! There is also an area of green trees to shoot in! It has a more country vibe to the location. Click the LINK for info!
